How does Kickstarter work?
A creator is a person who develops a project idea
Backers are folks who pledge money to join creators in bringing projects to life.
The funding goal is the amount of money that a creator needs to complete their project. Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing. No one will be charged for a pledge towards this project until it reaches its funding goal.

Rewards are a creator's chance to share a piece of their project with their backer community in exchange for their pledge.* You'll receive updates from me throughout the campaign to keep you up-to-date on our progress and share important milestones. *There is an option to pledge without a reward
Campaign dates: November 17 - December 15
The Kickstarter campaign will go public at 12:01 am on November 17. From that moment until midnight on December 15, you can pledge your support at different reward tiers. Your payment will be processed only when the campaign is fully funded but not before December 15.
When you subscribe to The List, you'll receive special access to some very special, and VERY limited, rewards. How special? The Tunic and Tunic Dress will be available at the lowest price I will ever offer. And it is $50 below the regular Kickstarter price. I promise you don't want to miss this opportunity.

Holiday Ordering
For those of you who are planning to gift RAANU for the holidays, I am offering all of the flagship designs as Kickstarter rewards as well. My hope is that you won't feel torn between gifting and backing the campaign. And as an incentive, I am offering The COWL, The CLOAK, and The COAT all at reduced prices when you purchase them through Kickstarter. Once you have claimed your reward, you will receive a message from me asking which color you would like. It is important that you respond so that I can add it to the inventory. When the campaign ends on December 15, and has reached its funding goal, the Holiday orders will be shipped out. All orders will be shipped by December 18. If you are hoping to gift other rewards for the Holidays please know that these physical objects will not be available. HOWEVER, I endeavor to have all Thank You cards arrive before December 25. These cards will include a mention of your reward so perhaps they can be gifted as a placeholder?

A note on sizing:
Standardized sizing is a myth. And nearly all clothing companies base their designs on the "medium" dimensions and draft smaller and larger sizes from there. But the proportions of a person who is a size XL will be different from that of the person who is a size M. That "medium" is often what we consider a size 8. These numbers do not reflect the average American body type. I started with my own measurements which are approx a size 14-16 and drafted a size large. That is the standard that the other sizes are based on.

Reaching Our Goal
On December 15 the Kickstarter ends and the real fun begins. This is what the timeline will look like: Since we will have reached our goal of $7500, your payments will then be processed and I will send you a survey (and your coupon codes if applicable). This survey is to collect important information like what color and size Tunic you would like, your mailing address, etc. I will begin shipping. All flagship rewards will be sent out by December 18. By December 20 I endeavor to have all Thank You cards mailed as well. January 2022: I will begin warping with the materials I have in stock. I will purchase more materials and equipment and send you smiling updates of the joy your support is bringing me. Photo rewards will ship. February 2022: weaving March 2022: More weaving. And sewing. Headbands, scarves, and yardage will start to ship. April 2022: Wrapping up production Tunics and Tunic Dresses ship. The sooner we reach our goal, the sooner we share the rewards!
